Psychological Services

 

Referral & Fees

Most clients access psychological services under a Mental Health Care Plan issued by a GP. This enables a rebate for up to 20 sessions per calendar year of around 75% of the fee refunded to the client following each consultation.

Counselling Psychologist fees are $135 with a rebate of $87.45 ( gap fee of $47.60 )

Clinical Psychologist fees are $185 with a rebate of $128.40 ( gap fee of $56.60 )

Rebates are refunded immediately following each consultation, deposited into your account.

 

Comprehensive Third Party (CTP) and WorkCover Claims

Our team provides assessment and treatment for various injuries relating to motor vehicle and work related incidents, including Chronic Pain, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Sleep and Mood Disorders, and interpersonal / psychosocial distress and vocational rehabilitation.

Referral from your treating doctor is required to book an initial consultation and follow-up treatment.  We can then proceed to liaise with your Insurer and treating practitioners to co-ordinate your treatment plan.

No payment is required as your approved services are covered by your Insurer.

 

Adult Individual Therapy

Individual therapy targeting resolution of life concerns and mental health conditions to enhance quality of life and personal effectiveness. During your initial consultation, your Psychologist will help you identify desired therapeutic goals and outline a treatment plan based on evidence based treatments. These include but are not limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Interpersonal Therapy.

 

Child & Adolescent

Helping parents and their children work through conflict and behavioural issues through child and family focussed strategies which may involve home and / or school based interventions.

Parenting Skills Education and Training

To assist parents in developing and apply positive parenting and communication skills to manage behavioural patterns at home and at school. Effective parenting supports the developmental needs of children, facilitates educational and psychosocial outcomes for children, enhances the mood and functionality of families and promotes positive marital relations.

 

Couples Therapy

Therapeutic intervention helping couples resolve conflict, learn effective communication skills and promote fulfilling relationships.
